Tara Woods - Visual Artist

My name is Tara Woods, and I am a visual artist based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I paint using acrylic paint on stretched canvas.

My art style is described as contemporary expressive with influences of abstract, impressionistic and whimsical styles, with the occasional pieces showcasing my journey with IBD – Crohn’s Disease.

I also like to create pieces like coasters, decorations and home wares, using epoxy resin, and am currently working on creating Christmas decorations for my local church for the remembrance section of the Christmas service to help remember those we lost during the year.
